Virginia “Ginny” M. Holderly, 84, of Kinmundy, Illinois went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Doctor’s Nursing Home in Salem, IL.She was born on September 4, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Russell and Mary Hudson. She married Bud Sanderson on February 20, 1960 and they had 3 children, Ginger, Russ and Rich. She later married Robert Holderly and they lived in Kinmundy until he passed away.She was a retired housekeeper and in-home care taker for the elderly, a position she dearly loved.Ginny’s passion was always her family. Her children and her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were always her favorite topic of conversation. She was preceded in death by her parents and both of her husbands.Surviving are her children, Ginger Yates (Loren Childress) of Mattoon, IL, Russ Sanderson of Effingham, IL and Rich (Steve Zimmer) Sanderson of O’Fallon , MO. Also four grandchildren, Ryan Shalon, Steve, and Chad, and 6 great-grandchildren, Philip, Xander, Tailor, Joey, Maddox, and Caden; her sister Barb Richardson of Salem, and 3 nieces, Denise, Samantha, and Jennifer.The family invites you to gather with them for visiting hours Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour beginning at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, P.O.
