Police Beat for Tuesday, November 9th, 2021

A 33-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail on an outstanding Cook County warrant.  Bond for Van Campbell of South Maple is $3,241.50 cash.  He was arrested by Wamac Police.

50-year-old Autumn Brannon of Lynwood Drive in Salem turned herself in at the Marion County Jail on an outstanding Clinton County misdemeanor warrant.   She posted a $500 cash bond and was released.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to the Stevenson Township Building on Banister Road in rural Salem.   Fuel was reportedly stolen sometime over the weekend after a lock was cut off the gas tank.
