An 18-year-old Salem woman was injured Sunday night when her car ran off North Broadway near Hardacre Road.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports Riley Ritter of North Broadway lost control of the car when seeing what happened to her boyfriend after he had jumped from the moving car.
Ritter ran off the road and struck an object causing her to hit her head on the steering wheel. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injury.
The man identified as her boyfriend, 19-year-old Christopher Goff, also of North Broadway, was not injured when jumping out of the car. The crash occurred just after nine Sunday night.
