A diesel pickup truck was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon while parked on a Salem city street.
The fire in the truck owned by Ryan Satterlee of 105 Chatham Drive began in the engine compartment and spread to the cab.
No other vehicles or homes were threatened.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The fire call came in at 2:24 Sunday afternoon.
