Police Beat for Sunday, November 7th, 2021

A 37-year-old Salem man who allegedly ran from Salem Police when they were attempting to arrest him for possession of methamphetamine in September has been arrested without further incident.   Police report Shaun Swieca of East Sennett was located at the Huck’s Store on West Main in Salem on Saturday.  In addition to possession of meth, Swieca was also arrested for resisting arrest.

Three people were arrested on outstanding warrants and brought to the Marion County Jail on Saturday.

  • 46-year-old Christopher Craig of North Shelby in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Williamson County warrant for failure to appear on a petition to revoke his probation on a drug charge.
  • 32-year-old Christine Koehler of Kinmundy Road in Louisville was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Clay County warrant.
  • 22-year-old Danielle Campbell of East Main Street in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Clinton County felony warrant for larceny. She was transferred to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle.
