Police Beat for Saturday, November 6th, 2021

A 29-year-old Odin woman was arrested by Centralia Police for felony disorderly conduct.  Lacey Linder of Chouteau Avenue was taken into custody after allegedly making a couple of false calls to 911.  She was taken to the Marion County Jail.

50-year-old Matthew Woods Senior of South Maple Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County traffic failure to appear warrant.   He remains in custody in lieu of $1,500 bond.

26-year-old Dylan Calahan of Gilbert Street in Odin was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding failure to appear felony warrant.  He was released after posting $300 bond.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a pallet of parts stolen from a home in the 4500 block of Brubaker Road.   The theft is believed to have occurred on Thursday night or Friday morning.

Salem Fire Protection District Firemen were called out twice Friday night to smoke alarms at Selmaville Grade School.  In both cases, fire officials say burned popcorn being made for a ballgame set them off.
