Glory Ann (Mosbarger) Hutchison of Mt. Vernon passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at 12:25 pm at Cisne Rehab and Healthcare in Cisne, Illinois.
She was born on March 2, 1938, in Grayville, Illinois, the daughter of Woodrow T. Mosbarger and Eleanor (Sarah) Ann McCurdy.
Glory was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She was a member of Eastern Star. She was a volunteer for several years at the Good Samaritan Hospital gift shop.
Glory is survived by four children, Deborah (Dare) Dalesandro of North Hollywood, California; Mark Hutchison of Nashville, Tennessee; Gail Ann Joyce of Dayton, Ohio; and Laura Beth Hutchison Brenon of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She has eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, as well as two nieces, Deana Overturf of Mt. Vernon; Pamala Mosbarger of Salem, and three nephews Terrill Mosbarger of Kampsville; Robert Mosbarger of Flora; and Ivan Mosbarger of Salem. Glory was proceeded in death by her husband, Malcolm R. Hutchison, whom she married March 21, 1960; her father, Woodrow T. Mosbarger; her mother, Eleanor (Sarah) Ann Guerrant; her step-father, Robert C. Guerrant; her brother, Thomas W. Mosbarger; and sister-in-law, Leta (Garren) Mosbarger.
Glory has requested that her body be cremated and no public service held. Glory is also survived by her beloved dog, Abby, and those wishing to make donations on Glory’s behalf may send them to FUR A GOOD PAWS in the care of Gina Douthit, 4 Sunset Drive, Flora, Illinois 62839.
