Don Edward Brown, Sr of Centralia, Illinois was born on January 24, 1950, to the late Helen Mae Jones and Carl Edward Brown in Centralia, Illinois.
On June 10, 1972, Don married Rosetta Birdo of Centralia, IL. This union gave birth to his son, Don Edward Brown, Jr. After the marriage ended, Don married Jenny Spurlock of Anna, IL on March 22, 1996, and welcomed their two sons, Dylan Edward Brown and Matthew Jordan Brown.
Don enlisted into the United States Air Force on November 5, 1970, where he served his country for over 25 years. He received many awards and retired at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force on December 31, 1995.
After retiring from the military, Don worked nearly 20 years in civil service which included the U.S. Forestry & Golconda Job Corps Academy.
Don enjoyed traveling and wanted his sons to be exposed to new things in the world. He never met a stranger and made lifelong friends. He loved being with his family and was always ready for a barbecue or fish fry… but don’t forget the side of spaghetti.
