The Marion County Health Department is reporting 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Health Department Administrator Melissa Mallow says three of those testing positive are fully vaccinated. Four of the cases are school age and none are long term care residents. 14 of the cases are considered community spread and four are the result of household/close contacts.
There are now 70 active cases in Marion County, including three who are in the hospital. No one is on a ventilator. Those in the hospital include two in their 50s and one in their 80s.
Another 39 were released from isolation on Wednesday.
