Gateway Regional Water Company will begin a modified disinfection process on November 9th using Free Chlorine instead of Chloramines for the predominant water disinfectant.

Beginning December 21, 2021 Gateway Regional Water Company will switch back from Free Chlorine residual to the normal Chloramines’ residual for the predominant water disinfectant. This transition back to chlorine and ammonia treatment will be completed in about a week. Customers with health issues should contact their physicians with any health-related questions.
