Salem Township Hospital has a new Chief Financial Officer.
Carolyn Davies is coming from a critical access hospital in Colorado.
“I love healthcare. I’m actually a daughter of a head nurse and i think healthcare is one of those industries that when you do the right thing for people your financial successes is also guaranteed. I have found that getting to be an accountant in healthcare is something that just feels good and you get to benefit others.”
Davies is looking to smooth some processes as the hospital has been bringing on staff during the past year. She’ll also be working with Hospital President Alex Nazarian on ways to improve the hospital. Davies also hopes to be able to improve data going to department heads and directors to run their department’s the best way they can.
Nazarian says between 30 and 40 resumes were submitted during the national search to fill the CFO position after he was elevated to hospital president.
