UNDATED (AP) — Georgia has earned a victory in its first game since moving to No. 1 in The Associated Press football poll.

Stetson Bennett tossed three touchdown passes and the Bulldogs got another stifling defensive effort in a 30-13 victory over No. 11 Kentucky. The senior quarterback was 14 of 20 for 250 yards in another solid performance with injured QB TJ Daniels watching from the sideline.

Georgia’s defense allowed two touchdowns in a game for the first time all season, the second with 4 seconds remaining.

The Bulldogs’ top-ranked defense lived up to their billing, limiting Kentucky to 249 total yards and blocking a pair of kicks.

Meanwhile, Purdue wasn’t very impressed with Iowa’s No. 2 ranking.

Aidan O’Connell threw for 375 yards and accounted for three touchdowns as the Boilermakers beat the Hawkeyes for the fourth time in their last five meetings, 24-7. O’Connell was 30 of 40 passing with two touchdowns, and he also ran for a score.
