Salem Police say a 34-year-old Salem man who had been out of jail less than three days has been arrested on additional felony retail theft charges.
Damon DeBoer of South Jefferson Street allegedly took more than $500 worth of items from the Salem Walmart Store on September 21st. Video from the store allegedly showed him leaving through an emergency door. He’s charged with one count of using the emergency door during the theft and a second count that is enhanced by a prior theft conviction.
DeBoer had been released from the Marion County Jail on September 19th to allow for further investigation of the three Salem business burglaries he had been charged with committing.
