The Salem Wildcats soccer team opened up the St Anthony/TTown Tournament with a 5-0 win over Pinckneyville. Eli Davis had 2 goals and an assist. One of the goals was on a great free kick from about 20 yards away and a great assist on a corner kick off the head of Hunter Daniels. Carter Wilson also had 2 goals and Alex Wilzbach dished out an assist. Salem is 1-1 overall on the season returns to play tonight in regular season play when they host Carlyle to the FCC Field.
