The Marion County Health Department is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. There are no new COVID-19 related deaths to report.
Five of the seven cases are in school-age children. None are in long-term care residents. Four of the cases are considered community spread and three are the result of household or close contacts. None of the seven were fully vaccinated.
There are now 23 hospitalized, including three on ventilators and two who are long-term care residents.
There are now 561 active cases in the county. Nine were released from isolation on Wednesday.
