BCMW Project BREAD, in conjunction with Midland Area Agency on Aging and the Department on Aging, will be taking applications for coupons redeemable at the Farmer’s Markets in Centralia, Mt Vernon and Salem starting Friday, August 27, 2021.
Applications will be done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30-11:30. Due to COVID-19, applications will be only done through the main office.
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Must be age 60 or older and be at 185% of the federal poverty level or less.
A short application process is required to obtain the coupons and they will be done over the phone. When the application is complete, you will be given a time to come to the office to sign the application and pick up the coupons. If you are unable to come to the office, you can designate a proxy to pick them up for you. The proxy must bring a photo ID.
You will need to call 618-532-7388 ext. 130 or 132 to do the application. If you get a voicemail, leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. We will distribute them until they are gone. Coupons can be redeemed at any Farmer’s Market listed until October 31, 2021.
