A 37-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to a burglary charge in exchange for a possession of methamphetamine charge being dropped.
Joshua Boyce of Condit Street was placed on three years probation, 30 days in the Marion County Jail with credit for time already served, and ordered to have no contact with the property owner. Restitution was reserved for a later court date.
Boyce was arrested after Centralia Police found him hiding inside a building used for storage in the 300 block of Shawnee after they received a tip from a witness of a man going inside. Boyce had been tied to another burglary to the same building after items from the first break-in were allegedly found in his possession.
