Two face new felony charges following weekend arrests in Marion County.
22-year-old Cody Young of Harrison Street in Mt. Vernon was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bond after being formally charged with possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. He had the public defender appointed to represent him.
30-year-old Tyler Foster of East Mississippi in Sandoval was charged with felony violation of an order of protection. Foster is accused of seeking to have a third party send protected party electronic messages. He has a prior conviction in Marion County for domestic battery. Bond was set at $3,500 and the public defender was appointed to represent him.
