The Junior Miss Marion County was named at the Marion County Fair Grounds Thursday night.
The winner, 14-year-old Sarah Morris of Iuka. Morris was first runner up and Miss Congeniality in the 2019 competition.
“I am absolutely shocked. It’s surreal because I did this 2 years ago and to finally get it this year is amazing.”
Morris is very confident and loves speaking to the public.
“Actually since I did it 2 years ago it wasn’t really stepping out of my comfort zone it was just doing something I’ve already done, just even better.”
First runner up was Gracie Long and Second was Emily Parrett.

Morris will attend the Demo Derby on Friday and will be traveling to Springfield later this month to attend the state fair.
