The Basketball Tournament get’s underway in the Illini Region this weekend with the Illini alumn going from a 16-seed last year in their debut, to a 2 seed entering this year’s tournament. An offensive juggernaut last year, House of ‘Paign’s returning roster includes most of the core of their debut team, like tenacious point guard Andres Feliz, as well as some new faces that are still familiar to Illini fans like Brandon Paul, Demetri Mccamey, Kipper Nichols, Nnanna Egwu and Rayvonte Rice.
They will open up Saturday against the 15-seed Jackson, Tennessee Underdawgs. The Underdawgs, one of TBT’s longest standing teams, will be back for their fifth season in the tournament after competing from 2016-19. This team, composed of Jacksonville’s finest hoopers, will look to capitalize off of their 2019 run to the Quarterfinals.
