Bond has been set at $7,500 for a rural Kell woman charged in Marion County Court with aggravated battery following a Tuesday altercation with another woman in the parking lot of the Days Inn in Salem.
Salem Police say Tiffany Morton of MortonLane is accused of biting and strangling another woman during an argument while she was standing outside the car of the alleged victim. The alleged victim complained of injury but declined hospital treatment.
Morton was gone by the time Salem Police arrived but later turned herself into the Marion County Jail.
