Salem grad and Quincy University standout Riley Martin was selected in the 6th round by the Chicago Cubs in the MLB Amateur Draft. Martin was a standout for the Wildcats before heading to Quincy where he became the all time strikeout and wins leader. He is the highest draft pick ever out of Quincy and is the 1st ever SCHS grad drafted into MLB. Martin watched the draft with his family and friends and says he is very excited to fulfill a lifelong dream.
