Salem Police arrested a 21-year-old Centralia woman for alleged driving under the influence and improper passing on the shoulder after her car ran into a ditch in the 1200 block of West Boone early Sunday night. Deziree Smith of South Lincoln was taken to the Marion County Jail where she later posted $100 bond and her driver’s license to be released.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 28-year-old Adam Marcello of South Pine in Centralia for alleged driving under the influence and improper lane usage. Marcello was stopped near the Green Street and Odin Road intersection around 9:40 Sunday night. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released on $100 bond and his driver’s license.
Salem Police arrested 35-year-old Blake Miller of Fulton Street in Centralia for alleged domestic battery after they were called to a domestic dispute in a room at the Days Inn. He remained in the Marion County Jail on Monday.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from the bus at the Temple Baptist Church on the Walnut Hill Road southeast of Centralia. The theft was discovered Sunday morning.
