Bond has been set at $5,000 for a 40-year-old Sandoval man on charges of aggravated assault and obstructing justice.
Tobias Barnes of North Broadway is accused of chasing another man on Wednesday while chasing another man while armed with a baseball bat and knife. Sandoval Police say they stopped Barnes before the alleged victim sustained any injury. Barnes also faces an obstructing justice charge for allegedly giving police
a fake name.
Barnes had the public defender appointed to represent him.
