A 56-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to a misdemeanor criminal damage to property charge in return for a felony criminal trespass to residence charge being dropped.
Jeffrey Gable of East 10th was placed on two years second chance probation, ordered to abstain from drugs and alcohol, complete 30 hours of public service work and have no contact with the alleged victim.
Gable had been charged in the felony charge that was dropped with entering a home on South Sycamore in Centralia while it was occupied in March. But he did admit to damaging a screen door and another door in the home.
