Two new felony charges have been filed in Marion County Court.

27-year-old Marquise Adams of East Fifth in Centralia faces three counts after allegedly breaking into an occupied home on the 500 block of South Perrine. He has been charged with felony criminal trespass to a residence, domestic battery for allegedly grabbing the alleged victim inside the home several times and criminal damage to property for breaking out a window of the home to gain entry.

35-year-old Dawn Vitale of Case Street in Wamac was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. She allegedly was found in possession of a 22-caliber revolver while on parole. If found guilty, the law mandates Vitale serve between three and 14 years in prison.

Both had the public defender appointed to represent them.
