A 33-year-old homeless Centralia man has been sentenced to two years in prison after admitted to committing an aggravated battery for striking a Centralia Police officer in the face.
Evan Winkoff had a second aggravated battery charge in connection with the same incident in May of last year that was dropped as part of the plea.
Winkoff will have to complete one year of parole when getting out of jail. He received 413 days credit for time already served in the Marion County Jail.
