A 78-year-old Salem man was injured in a crash at Kell and South Broadway on Salem’s south side early Monday night.
Salem Police say Robert Donoho of Edgewood Road was eastbound on Kell Street when he pulled in front of the semi driven by 42-year-old Stephen McBride of South Pittsburg, Tennessee. McBride couldn’t stop in time and hit the rear passenger side of the Donoho vehicle.
Donoho was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injury. McBride and a passenger in his semi, 34-year-old Courtney Germaine White of Tennessee, escaped injury.
Donoho was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to the scene, but no extrication was needed.
The crash occurred at 7:03 Monday night.
