Police Beat for Monday, June 28th, 2021

A 35-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for violation of an order of protection, possession of meth, and possession of a narcotic instrument. Police were initially called to the 300 block of Cedar where James Tate of East Noleman Street was reportedly located in violation of an order of
protection. Once he was taken into custody on that charge, he was allegedly found in possession of the meth and narcotic instrument. Tate was taken to the Marion County Jail to a await a final decision on charges.

A 43-year-old homeless Collinsville man has been returned to the Marion County Jail on a petition to revoke his probation on a possession of controlled substance charge. Patrick Branon is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.

35-year-old Jessica Welch of East Elm in Centralia is being held in lieu of $2,500 bond on a Marion County traffic warrant.
