The prep baseball season came to an end with the 4a state tournament held at DuPage Medical Group Field in Joliet. The O’Fallon Panthers finished 3rd knocking off Hononegah in the trophy game 6-4. This was after the Panthers dropped a 8-inning heartbreaker in the semifinal to Roselle Lake Park 6-5. Roselle fell in the state championship to Plainfield East 6-5 after East beat Hononegah in their semifinal 5-3.
