One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at Broadway and Elm in downtown Centralia.
Police reports indicate a car driven by 45-year-old Samantha Shelton of East 16th in Centralia was eastbound on Broadway when she apparently ran a red light and was struck by a northbound car on Elm street driven by 29-year-old Lacey Dodson of South Lincoln in Centralia.
Both drivers escaped injury, but a passenger in Lacey Dalton’s car, 31-year-old Richard Dodson, was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injury.
Shelton was ticketed for disregarding a traffic control device.
