A 28-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for delivery of a controlled substance after a search warrant was executed on his home in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Drive Friday morning.
Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says Duan Brown could face additional state or federal charges. He reports the search warrant was executed without incident after multiple controlled buys of suspected heroin/fentanyl. A firearm and a large quantity of various caliber ammunition were seized.
The search warrant was executed by Centralia Police in conjunction with the FBI Drug Task Force. The Task Force involves officers from the Carlyle, Salem, Wamac, Central City, and Centralia Police Departments along with the Clinton and Marion County Sheriff’s Departments
Dodson says these types of operations are an example of local law enforcement working in partnership with Federal agencies to combat the drug problems in the area.
The search warrant was executed at 6:22 Friday morning.
