In girls softball action at the Complex, Landers beat Caseys 17-8. Reagan Shuler struckout 12 in 4 innings with Kendall Zmmermann finishing out the final inning. She also finished with 3 singles. Maci Thorsel hit a grand slam, Lauryn Mascareno had a hit along with Teagan Lobek, Kinsley Parrish, Lily Holsapple and Ali Patrick. In the loss, Emma Lipe struck out 7 and added 2 singles. Emily Parrett threw a runner out trying to steal 3rd. Chelsey Haines had a hit along with Blaike Jourdan and Jorja English. Emily Jones had 2 hits including a double and Kenley Cripps also had 2 hits.
Wabash Communications earned an 8-4 win over United Methodist. Brylee Pennypacker struck out 10 in the complete game win. She also hit a 2-run homer. Gabriella Winchester scored a pair of runs. Caitlynne Bryan also scored along with Teryn Quinn, Natalie Burgess and Aubrey Parker. In the loss, Quinn Wolfe struck out 4 in 3 innings and Bria Murray worked the final 3 innings with 6 ks.
In Pony League action, Salem Tire knocked off Minor League 10-3. Salem Tire scored 5 runs in the fifth inning to pull away. Aden Bass was the winning pitcher allowing 2 runs on five hits over 3 innings with five ks and one walk. Colton Starnes and Carter Lowe entered the game out of the bullpen. Kam Wilkins started for Minor League going 3 innings allowing just 1 hit and 3 runs with 8ks. Armoni Dempsey, Silas Moats and Cody Beard each worked on the mound. Starnes, Bass, Micah Snyder and Josh Hiestand all had a hit. Dempsey, Wilkins and Moats had multi-hit games for Minor League.
In Coach Pitch, Jeff Dunahee over Salem Bowl 18-14. Lucas Hick and Lukas Kelly hit home runs. Dylan Faulkner, Tristin Smith and Liam Ostermann doubled. Jaxon Rector, Calen Veit-Tackitt, Coen Dasch and Carson Phillips added singles.
