A 35-year-old St. Elmo woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night on eastbound I-70 at milepost 65 in Vandalia Township in Fayette County.
State Police say Tiffany Winterrowd was traveling behind a tow truck driven by 27-year-old Henry Collins of St. Louis that slowed abruptly due to merging traffic and rear-ended the truck.
Winterrowd was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Collins refused medical attention.
The crash occurred at 6:48 Thursday evening.
