At the Little League Complex in Pony League play, Peoples National Bank improved to 2-1 with their 6-3 win over Minor League.  Heydin Purcell was the starting pitcher working 3 solid innings striking out 7 followed by Keaton Gullion and Noah Nix on the mound.  Nathan Paulson had a huge 2 run single in the sixth to give PNB a cushion.  Alijah Carroll laid down a 2-out, 2-run bunt and Purcell doubled.   In the loss, Ayden Rose had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Silas Moats and Cam Wilkins also singled.  On the mound, Armoni Dempsey worked the first three innings followed by Wilkins.

In Minor’s, Edward Jones outlasted Elks 7-6 in eight innings.  In the win, Kam Rasul had 3 hits along with Owen Tennyson.  Emit Gibson and Gerryn Tabor had a pair of hits each.  Cam Slater had a hit and 2 RBI to walk it off.  Carter Johnson scored the winning run.  In the loss, Kellen Nix, Rhett Starnes ans Issac Beaty all had 2 hits.  Davion Johnston had 3 hits.

Marion County Savings Bank beat Security Alarm 12-6.  Benny  Bryan struck out 7 in 3 innings of work.  Tanner Purintun and Dakota Gregg fnished the game.  Purintun hit an inside the park home run and drove in 2.  Bryan had a triple with an RBI.  Jax Schaubert and Hunter Phillips each singled and drove home 2.  Porter Lewis and Braden Hanes each singled home a run.

In minors softball, in a game that featured 58 total hits, Bandy’s beat Modern Woodman 23-11.  In the win, Kenna Benjamin and Abigail Westman each drove in 6 runs, Gabriella and Gwen Goostree combined to drive in 6.
