The Salem fresh/soph track team traveled to Marion.
The host won the event with 123 points followed by Salem with 99, Mt Vernon 96, with Harrisburg, Centralia, Murphysboro and Nashville also competing.
Freshman Caleb Smith won the shot and discus, Jervace Mays also won the 400 and was 2nd in the high jump and triple jump. Also the 4×800 relay team of Caleb Long, Branson Papas, Ricardo Salgado and TJ Gillett was 1st.
