The Franklin Park Middle School eighth grade promotion will now be a traditional graduation.
Principal Tyler Lux says the promotion was originally going to be parade-style like last year due to capacity restrictions for indoor events as a result of COVID-19. But with the changes that are set to become effective on May 14th, they are excited to be able to hold graduation in the Franklin Park Gymnasium.
Each graduate was given four tickets to have four guests attend the Thursday, May 27th, ceremony. It will begin at seven pm.
The ceremony will also be streamed on Franklin Park Middle School’s Facebook page.
