A 50-year-old Salem woman has been arrested by Salem Police for aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery to a peace officer following an altercation with her mother.
Marjorie Woodward was taken to the Marion County Jail while her mother was treated and released for her injuries at Salem Township Hospital.
Salem Police say they were first called to their residence in the 500 block of East Olive to a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found the two actively fighting. When Woodward allegedly refused to stop fighting, police pulled her away and then she allegedly began wrestling with them before being cuffed.
Police say no officers were injured in the altercation.
