A 24-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested for aggravated battery after allegedly striking a nurse at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in the back of the head with her arm.  Centralia Police say Brittany Stephens of North Walnut had been taken to the hospital earlier in the evening for an evaluation after they came into contact with her at the Block Tavern.   She was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Salem Police arrested a 24-year-old homeless man for domestic battery and criminal damage to property.   Daniel Reed is accused of getting upset with the victim when she refused to give him a ride to Robinson.   He allegedly threw his phone against the front windshield causing it to break and then threw a burrito at the victim.    She called police after Reed had gone inside the Verizon Store on West Whitaker to try and get another phone after his apparently broke when being thrown against the windshield.

Centralia Police arrested 35-year-old Jaime Evilsizer of Heritage Circle in Centralia for alleged possession of methamphetamine and on a Marion County warrant to revoke his probation on a burglary conviction.  Bond on the warrant is set at $5,000.

30-year-old Lacey Weller of East 2nd in Herrin was arrested by State Police for alleged possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Centralia Police arrested 30-year-old Fernando Garcia of South Hickory in Centralia for alleged domestic battery and intimidation.  Police say the charges date back to March ninth when he allegedly struck his girlfriend in the face.

A 24-year-old Centralia man was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding warrant.   Jacob White of Devonia Drive is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond for failure to appear on a pending possession of methamphetamine case.
