The Salem Community High School Green Team will celebrate Earth Day with an electronics recycling drive on Friday morning.
Co-Sponsor Drew Johnson says everyone is welcome to drop off no longer wanted newer computer screens and TV (the kind without a back tube), old computers, and other small electrical appliances. The hours are from eight to noon. Students will be on hand to unload vehicles.
Unlike past years, the drive will NOT accept old ink cartridges this year.
He reports the Green Team will receive a small percentage from the recycling that will go towards the recycling efforts at Salem High School.
The annual electronics recycling drive had to be canceled last year due to COVID-19 concerns.
