A fire that burned two rooms of a vacant mobile home at 650 North Walnut in Centralia is considered as suspicious and remains under investigation.
Centralia City Firemen say heavy smoke was showing from the front room of the mobile home upon their arrival. They were able to get a quick knockdown.
While no one was living at the home, there were a lot of items stored inside.
The ownership of the home was not immediately known. The department was told the home was about to be placed on the condemned list prior to the fire.
The fire call came in at 4:28 Tuesday afternoon. Firemen were on the scene for about an hour.
