Salem 9u travel baseball team travelled to Greenville Saturday and came out with two wins against Greenville Swing and the Effingham Heaters.
In the first game, Salem beat Greenville 10-4. Emit Gibson was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Devan Jennings was 2 for 2 with a walk and RBI. Ben Lux was 1 for 1 with 2 walks. Jacob Butts was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. Devan Jennings got the win on the mound going 3 innings.
In the second game Salem defeated Effingham 14-9. Dakota Gregg was 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 3 RBI’s. Grant Squibb was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Vince Krajefska was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Tanner Purintun was 1 for 2. Vince Krajefska got the win on the mound going 1 1/3 innings.
