The Salem Lady Cats dropped their volleyball match to Columbia 22-25, 18-25 to drop to 4-8 on the year. The JV lost in 3 sets and are 5-7 dropping 15-25, 25-14, 22-25. The Salem Freshman lost 19-21, 17-21. Salem is back in action at home tomorrow against Mt Vernon.
The SC Lady Cougars improved to 9-4 with their volleyball win over Patoka 25-16, 25-20. Halle Smith had 13 kills and Sydnee Garrett added 8 with 7 digs. Madyson Magnus finished with 13 assists and Smith had 13 digs with Sierra Arnold and Olivia Brauer adding 12 each. The JV won 24-26, 25-23, 26-24 to improve to 8-5 and the SC Fresh/Soph won 26-24, 25-11 and are 7-3-and-1.
