A 44-year-old Centralia man was injured Monday afternoon when his dump truck ran off Route 161 east of Centralia.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Curtis Scott of South Maple told them he was run off the road by an approaching vehicle in the wrong lane.
Scott’s truck ended up in the roadside ditch west of Zion Hill Road. He was able to get out on his own. Scott was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The sheriff’s department received notification of the crash at 4:31 Monday afternoon.
