Salem Police Chief Sean Reynolds says two businesses have received counterfeit $20 bills and he’s alerting everyone in the community to check for the authenticity of the money they receive.
Without going into detail, Reynolds says a close examination of the counterfeit bill will show they are not real.
Four counterfeit bills in all have been passed in the past few days.
