Four were elected to the Kaskaskia College Board in Tuesday’s election.
In the race for the three full six-year terms, Laura Wedekemper unofficially has 8,641 votes, Jeffrey Brown 7,130 votes, and Louis Kalert 5,152 votes. Chuck Lear ran fourth with 4,682 votes.
For the two-year unexpired term, Jim Beasley defeated Patrick Ashby 6,860 to 4,603.
Kaskaskia College hopes to verify the results from the district that encompasses nine counties later on Wednesday.
