Coach Kevin Greene and the Salem Football Wildcats begin preparation this week for visiting Breese Central on Friday night. The Cats are coming off a loss to Columbia last week that put them at 1-2. The Salem JV will be in action tonight at Columbia with kickoff set for 6pm.
On Saturday, Breese Mater Dei won the battle of unbeatens beating Nashville 41-26. Also Chester over Vienna 41-8, Christopher beat Edwards County 56-0, Eldorado beat Carmi 19-8, Fairfield 44-0 over Hamilton County, Freeburg 35-14 over Alton Marquette and Mt Carmel shutout LeRoy 40-0.
