The Marion County Health Department is reporting 12 new COVID-19 cases Friday through Monday. The department reports none of the cases were in long-term care residents. Three of the cases are considered community spread and nine are household or close contacts.
There are currently 26 active cases. Five of those are in the hospital and two on ventilators. Three were released from isolation over the four-day period.
Clinton County is reporting four new cases over the past four days. 15 remain on home isolation and none are hospitalized.
The Jefferson County Health Department reported one new active case over the weekend and Monday with nine remaining in isolation.
The Washington County Health Department is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 from Friday through Monday. There are currently five active cases.
The Fayette County Health Department is reporting 18 new cases in the past week.
The Wayne County Health Department four new and probable cases for Sunday and Monday. There are eight currently in isolation.
Statewide, there were 2,102 new cases reported on Monday along with 11 additional deaths. All the deaths were in the Chicago area.
The statewide positivity rate for the past seven days remains at 3.8-percent. Marion County’s positivity rate remains at a half-percent.
