The Kaskaskia College Blue Devils open up Midwest District play tonight as they try to do what no other Kaskaskia College Blue Devils team has done in the past….beat VU on the road in the post-season. The last win was when the college was Centralia Junior College in 1951. The Blue Devils enter at 11-9 coming off a home win over Shawnee 84-64 last Tuesday. These two teams met in Centralia last Saturday with KC suffering a close 69-58 loss. Earlier in the year, KC lost at Vincennes 79-64. The Blue Devils are balanced scoring with 5 averaging double figures. They are led by Shomari Tillett and Chris White at 14 per game followed by Chauncey Hughes and Traeveion Jones at over 12. Payton Sheen averages 11. Game time for the KC men at VU set for 6pm.

The KC Blue Angels will open up Midwest District play tonight as they also head to Vincennes. KC is 4-15 overall on the season with losses to VU on the road 89-77 and at home 86-76. Entering the game, KC is led in scoring by Janiah Newell at 13 and Kyra Duncan and Melea Lovelace at 11 each. Reyna Bullock averages just less than 10 points per game as does Highland grad Megan Kronk. Game time is at 6pm.
