A 21-year-old Salem man has been arrested on drug charges. Joshua McWhirter of West Warmoth was taken into custody for alleged possession of meth and controlled substance following a traffic stop by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a shed at a home in the 300 block of South Locust in Patoka. Several hundred dollars worth of steaks were reportedly stolen from a freezer after the door was pried open.
